Trek to Fight Blindness
Following our very successful inaugural overseas challenge (to the Sahara Desert) we are now taking a group to Namibia in September 2010. We are also inviting participation on our 2011 expedition to Iceland.
The two trips are to countries at opposite ends of the climate spectrum, but they still have lots in common - stunning scenery; the personal challenge; exciting terrain and environment; amazing wildlife; adventure and escape.
Namibia is also special because whilst we are there we will be taking four days to base ourselves in a school in a small village and build a new playground.
Iceland is special because of the unique environment full of smells and sounds, and 24 hours of sun each day, making it a fantastic experience for people with visual impairment and fully sighted people alike.
You can join us. Please click on the links to the left of this page to learn more about the expeditions.
You'll be committing to fundraise for the charity but you will have plenty of time and support to help you hit the sponsorship target. We'll be with you all the way, and the rewards, for us all, will stay with you forever.
